On her purpose right now:
"Just continue to do my job, which is hopefully bringing joy and hope and lifting spirits, you know? That's my purpose here."
On the weirdest dream she's ever had:
"I've gotta tell you two, because one of them's better than the other... I have a couple of crushes here and there, and I was starting a furniture line with one of them last night. Secondarily, the night before -- Lorde and I have a really good mutual friend, and we're ver friendly when we see eachother, but we have yet to become besties, but everybody's super friendly -- we've been talking through our mutual friend, who is one of my best friends. I did a voice note to her and I said, basically, 'I dreamt about you last night that we finally became best friends, but I had to take you out to a chicken dinner first to convince you.'"
On how she prepared for making this album?
"For me, I've done a lot of soul-searching, and heart-mending, and just cleaning out whatever skeletons. I did inspections, I still do the work, and I don't think that there is any -- what they say -- there's no there there."
