Taylor Swift Returns To Instagram To Fangirl Over Selena Gomez's New Song

iHeartRadio Music Awards - Backstage

Ah, Taylor Swift ... WE MISS YOU.

In case you haven't noticed, our dear T-Swift has been laying low over the last year. While there have been reports that she's currently working on new music, her social media has also been very quiet lately. In fact, the only time we've seen her post about anything recently is to support her friends' new music, like from Lorde and HAIM. And now, her good pal Selena Gomez has Taylor's support after releasing her new song "Fetish" this week.

Taylor posted Selena's "Fetish" cover art to her Instagram, along with the caption, "Sultry pop magic from this dreamy almost-birthday-girl."

Selena's birthday is July 22nd, FYI. She turns 25 this year.

Selena Gomez's "Fetish" features rapper Gucci Mane, and follows her previously released single "Bad Liar."

Before Taylor's post for Selena, which has garnered 1.4 million likes so far, Swift's last Instagram was from May 3rd informing everyone that she had HAIM's new single "Want You Back" from their new album Something To Tell You on repeat "until the end of time." And before that, made up an "interpretive dance to this magnificent bop for the ages," talking about Lorde's "Green Light."

To be honest ... SAME, Tay. We feel SO the same about both of those songs. And while we're glad Tay has been taking some much needed time for herself -- WE MISS YOU T! Taylor's last release was in December 2016, which was her collaboration with ZAYN "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. So, us Swifties are anxious to hear what new music she's been creating.
