Have 'Mercy': Ed Sheeran Crashed a Shawn Mendes Concert in Brooklyn

Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran

Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran are both known for their vocal talents, as well as on the guitar -- there are many parallels between them. So it was only a matter of time before they joined forces and performed together.

During Shawn's "Illuminate" tour stop at Brooklyn, New York's Barclays center, the Mendes Army was surprised when Ed came out on stage to perform Mendes's hit single "Mercy" with Shawn himself.

Barclay's Center posted a short clip of the surprise on-stage collab to their Twitter account, and the fans were going so wild, you can barley hear Shawn and Ed (or shall we call them Shed?). But same, TBH.

"Mercy" is off of Shawn's latest album Illuminate, which was released back in September 2016, and debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart. The album also featured lead single "Treat You Better."

Following the show, Shawn thanked Ed for joining him on stage on Instagram, posting a photo of the two of them on stage.
