Burke Ramsey Settles With CBS In $750 Million Lawsuit

Two years ago a miniseries on A&E (owned by CBS), The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey, suggested in it's three part run that Burke Ramsey could potentially be at fault for his sisters death. In turn, Burke then sued CBS in a defamation lawsuit for $750 million.

The Daily Camera is reporting that while the lawsuit has been settled, we aren't getting much more information from it. "The parties have reached an amicable resolution of their differences and will have no further comment," said a spokesperson for the producers of The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey.

Burke's lawyer simply tweeted "mission accomplished," next to an article from Westword reporting about the dismissal.

This is the follow up to an earlier tweet where Wood hopes that "this is my last defamation case for this fine family."

As of now, no information has been released on if or when we will find out the details behind the settlement.
