While we enter into our 28th day of the government shutdown, the longest one in history, some Portland restaurants are offering deals and free food and drink options to furloughed government employees.
In an article from Eater PDX restaurants, Portland establishments like Red Star Tavern, Nonna, and Stumptown Coffee are all offering deal to government workers going without pay. Deals include free tequila shots at Bar Casa Vale, BOGO pasta deals at Nonna, and 15% off all food and drink at Red Star Tavern.
