Dog walking company Wag! conducted a study to see just how important loving your partners animals is in a relationship.
In the survey 4 out of 5 people said that how their dog viewed their partner would impact the relationship, with 86% of people even saying they would break up if their significant other didn't like their dog.
CEO Hilary Schneider commented that "it comes as no surprise to us at Wag! that dog parents place a premium on their dogs’ opinions of other humans and that this plays a deciding factor in their love lives."
I know if someone didn't like my pets I would be wary of them. Would you ever break up simply because they didn't like your animals?
