Beyonce's Remix Of 'Mi Gente' Is Set To Make Major Chart History

Beyoncé surprised the BeyHive when she dropped her remix of J Balvin and Willy William's "Mi Gente" and the star-studded facelift is said to make some major chart history for the pop titan.

As per a new report from Idolator, "Mi Gente" is set to place near the top three tier, which will make Bey one of only seven female artists to have a span of more than 20 years between top 10 hits. It started in 1997 when Destiny's Child's "No, No, No" peaked at the No. 3 position, paving the way for her string of solo smashes.

If she nabs this accomplishment, Beyoncé will also join some legendary females titans like Cher, Madonna, Tina Turner, Dione Warwick, Diana Ross and Aretha Franklin. They've all defied the time, churning out hit after hit for several decades. It's yet to be seen if this remix will have a similar impact as Justin Bieber's contribution to Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" but only time will tell.
