Tonight Dua Lipa joined us for an interview on #MostRequestedLive! She opened up about winning a Grammy last year, how her new album, Future Nostalgia, differs from her last album and a whole lot more. Check out some of the highlights and then listen to the full interview below!
On winning a Grammy last year:
"It was such an incredible experience. It really made me work harder; it pushed me in the direction to make me feel like I need to -- in order to grow as an artist -- try something new, try something different. I didn't want to recreate whatever had already happened. I wanted to grow and I wanted to change it up, and it was the Grammys that was like, yeah, you should just go and do it. It's scary being outside of your comfort zone, and trying something new, and especially after everyone had reacted so well to the first record."
On how her new album is different from her debut:
"This one really brings you into a world. Future Nostalgia -- the title -- it's bringing all my influences and making them something that's relevant to today, something that feels futuristic and fun and something that is relatable now."
On preparing to tour the new album:
"I'm really excited... it's definitely the biggest tour that I've gone on to date."
