DJ Snake sat down for an interview with Maxwell on #MostRequestedLive!
On how he got both Cardi B and Selena Gomez on "Taki Taki":
"Cardi heard the record with Ozuna, and she was like 'Ooh, what is that?' And he said, 'Oh that's the record that I have with Snake.' She was like, 'Oh my God, I need to be on this.' So she called me, said, 'Hey, this is Cardi, I need to be on that record, that's my sh**.' So I was the happiest man on the planet. She cut the record pretty fast, and then I was like you know what, we should bring another queen on the record. Selena was down to work on it, she was super excited, and that's my first record in Spanish - that was a big challenge for me... I didn't know if the Latinos were gonna love it or not. That record's a monster."
On the next challenge he wants to tackle now that he has a Spanish record under his belt:
"I get inspired by the world, so the next challenge is trying to make new things, bringing some different sounds into my world, and I'm almost done with my new album and its gonna be incredible. I have a lot of people on it: super talented kids, some huge superstars, rappers, other DJs - that's gonna be a big one... I just can't wait to share the monster with you."
